Introduction
By using our website, you agree to these terms and conditions in full. If you do not accept or do not agree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use our website. We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time and post the updated version on the website.
Delivery & Storage
The majority of joinery that is built by P & J Roberts Ltd is delivered primed and undercoated unless requested otherwise. It is the responsibility that the party applies the recommended number of top coats in line with the individual product recommendations.
Joinery that is supplied untreated it is the responsibility of the third party to ensure that appropriate steps are taken to protect untreated wood which should be decorated including priming undercoating and top coating in line with the individual product recommendations, normally within seven days of delivery.
Once delivered, it is the responsibility of the third party to ensure that all products delivered by P&J Roberts Ltd are adequately kept in dry conditions that will not lead to any supplied product being damaged prior to fitting or installation.
P&J Roberts Ltd cannot be held responsible for goods that deteriorate due to unsuitable storage.
Payment
Upon acceptance of a quotation, a deposit must be paid in advance to secure engagement with P&J Roberts Ltd (unless otherwise agreed).
Upon completion of work, the balance of payment is to be paid by return unless agreed otherwise.
Maintenance
Wood is a natural product and must be maintained regularly to preserve it in an optimal condition. This may include - but not be limited to - priming, undercoating, top coating, staining, varnishing. Due to the variety of wood maintenance products available and so many different kinds of wood it is not possible to offer specific guidance.
